The quiet before the storm

At least inside my mind for the moment it’s quiet, same here with my mother. There is always the calm before the storm. With my mind being calm right now means it’s not taking me down memory lane where the painful scars reopen and then take years to close again. Regardless though I finally felt right enough to record some videos for my YouTube channel. It sucks when your motivation and lack of will just get wiped clean because you end up in a dark place for a moment or two. It was to the point if it wasn’t for the way I record I’d have nothing on my YouTube channel while the darkness was running around in my head. I tend to do a lot of bulk recording at either one or two sittings on certain games because I never know when my motivation dies out. So I tend to bulk record a few videos that I can compress at a later date to upload them to YouTube for everyone to watch.

In yesterday’s post you may have noticed that I offered to be a shoulder and I did that because for me. It’s an escape from my own personal hell if you must know. Plus it does help for others to have just that one person will sit and let you know that you are not alone in whatever crisis you are facing. To me that is what friendship, even just being there for your fellow human being is about. Supporting someone in need, doesn’t mean we have to talk, or if we do talk, I can help distract your mind from whatever is bothering you. I’ve been told I’m kind of good at being a distraction when needed. So just keep that in mind.

Now I want to talk about my huge notice in using a racing wheel over an Xbox One Controller. The racing wheel I have is a PXN V900 Racing Wheel and I’ve noticed a huge improvement over using a controller. Not sure if you can still get that one, but I know over on Amazon they have newer versions of the Wheel, and I’m working on getting a new one so I can put this one off to side as a back up. I don’t have the money for a Logitech, or Thrustmaster, and so forth. I make due with what I can afford and I don’t read the negative reviews because some people will not like the feel of the wheel, or shit on it because it’s a not a really high end brand, but if they support games I like to play. Hell yeah I’m going to give it a try. I don’t have money to waste off something that shouldn’t be the same price as a rental, house payment, car payment, etc. It should be affordable and yes PXN is considered affordable. So enjoy whatever way you have it to play the games you want.
