Content Creators

Today’s post I’m switching it up a tad and going to talk about other content creators. The ones that write blogs, do streaming, upload content over to YouTube. These creators (Yes I’m including myself) are truly a league in their own. While a lot of other people are looking at this for a hobby, there are some that earn a living off their streams, videos they upload and so forth, and I applaud them because they have done something to make it a profitable income for them and their family while still having outside jobs too. I will never talk bad about them because they are earning a living doing what they love. Same with bloggers they create their content, and research their blog posts, and it does take a lot of work to sit down and write their blog posts. I know how it is because a few years ago on my old blog I did an entire week of Developer talk, and I went and researched each and every developer I was supporting in those posts. So I know when people are streaming and uploading videos on YouTube it still takes some time create and edit those videos, creating thumbnails, and what ever else they are doing on their streams, blogs, videos, and etc.

Writing is no easy feat either because there are times I have to stop and go look up something to make sure I’m quoting the right thing, or look for images if I am reviewing a game, or novel, whatever it is I am doing. As for recording video game plays it is not easy either because there are times I’ll fall silent while recording, and it’s just something I’m prone to doing. I will try my hand at live streaming when we move in the future.

If I am looking into a new video game, I will go out and do my best to gather the information I need to talk about a video game, or review it by playing it, and then write down my thoughts, but now I just record the game play, and upload it to my YouTube. It’s still always a work in progress whether I am writing, or recording game play. I am always looking for ways to improve and do my best on my own.
