Who is Shad0wz?
So in this post I am just doing the “Who am I”, and “Why this blog name”, as I did not do a lot of introducing myself this week too well, as it was just an off week for me. I do have a post on my Second Life blog that is also for my online store there. I will post the link of “Who is LadyShad0wz Greymoon?” it will introduce me more and why I have the chosen the names I have. I am a soon to be 47 yr old woman who is happily taken by my best friend who I’ve known since I was 12 years old. We have a 10 year age gap, but we fit together well. We also have a soon to be 10 year old Shiba Inu/Mini Pin mix. Her name is Raven.

She was the best anniversary gift a girl that has a deep love for dogs could get. Raven was given to us as a stray off the streets. We not only saved her, but she saved us as well. She’s been at our side through a lot of our ups and downs. Yet her love for us holds us together and makes us stronger than anything. When he’s not around she’s at my side as my emotional support animal. Right now I am working on getting her papers back to working so that we can get another place to live as landlords we’ve talked too said to do it this way so they could help us get a place that is suitable for us.
Why did I choose the name Shad0wz as my online persona, well it just fit right with the name I was going back in a 2d chat and that name I went by was xXx.Vampyr.xXx, and I opted to go with XxX--ShadowzVampyr--XxX, and yes back in the mid to late 90’s and early 2000’s these kind of names was a hot thing in chats online, even Yahoo, AIM, Hotmail, and even ICQ if you wanna go back. It was also all about being anonymous online and hiding behind keyboard back then too. I was also heavy in Role-Playing online via Forums, 2d Chat rooms, Messengers and etc. What kind of role-play did I do? Vampire the Masquerade table top game that I started in late 90’s, and we moved to online forums, building our own webpages from sites like Geocities, Angelfire, Lycos, and whatever else we could find that would allow us to build websites. It was also how I got into graphical design, and web page building. I also used Coffeecup Free HTML software. Course back then we use to pirate a lot of software too. One friend would buy it, and they would hack a code into it, and we’d be able to get it and keep it for free. I’m sure somewhere on a bunch of CD-R, CD-RWs I have in the garage that I have said software there. That was also back in the day were we still had some shred of Napster running around, but LimeWire was becoming our main software to use to grab music, software. Then we got into torrents. There were a ton of websites. Like Darkside_RG, The Pirate Bay, Demonoid, and the main person or persons we got our movies from was a guy/girl, or a group who went back aXXo. Yeah the early 2000’s was a pirate freeway with torrents, and I got a lot of stuff back then that have now is long gone because I went legit and started buying software. So yeah there is a little backstory into who I am, and why being anonymous online was so important for a lot of people. We weren’t out to hurt anyone, we just wanted to share our love of things with everyone for free. We were against ourselves. So yeah!
