Welcome to Blaugust 2024!
This is the first post for the beginning of what is called Blaugust. So I want to welcome to all the new people who signed up with blogging, the readers that will come and go during this month. Whether you stay or go, is totally up to you, and that is understandable. So for the first week I’ll be welcome new readers, new bloggers, and give a little insight as to why I do this from time to time. Plus I will give you my insight on what plugins I use, and how I have pretty much kept my admin area like the original older WordPress for writing, and so forth. Also my take on working with WordPress website itself over self hosting, and how it can be a help, or a hinder to you in the long run.

It’s okay to have a schedule
I like to have a schedule for posting as sometimes my real life does interfere with either my gaming, and my blogging all the time. It’s just the way it is at the moment. I’ll explain more later on in the month about what is going on. Plus don’t think that you can’t still sign up for the event. There have been a lot of writers that showed up late or half way through this yearly event. It’s never to late to start your journey into blogging if you are looking to do just that. Or even if you want to be a supporter you can join the discord community. There are a ton of things over there to do, the list is to long to even attempt for this post here at this time. It’s a very welcoming community and you can stay even after the blogging event is over. I am in the discord, but I am nothing more then just a lurker, I rarely speak there at all. It’s just something that I have changed in my life from the past couple of years.
