Chasing the pretty lights
Yup since the release of version 1.49 in ATS and the new skybox visuals that they released has me chasing the pretty aurora borealis in American Truck Simulator. I give props to SCS for adding this feature into the game. I know over in ETS 2 you can see them as well, but in either one I’ve yet to experience the lights. I’ve seen images on reddit, on steam photos as well, and I just can’t get that damn lucky. I don’t know why I’m so fascinated with seeing the borealis , but I am. I could spend all day long playing both games and I don’t get lucky to see it. Doesn’t mean I won’t keep trying so that I can eventually see it. I am only wanting to see it in game because I’ll never be one of the lucky ones to see it real life, so when I can see things like this in a game. I want to see it over and over again. I’m not sure if it’s the green lights , or just the lights overall that have me to intrigued by it. Course my desk is now decked out in RGB lights.

Sadly though you can not see my tower itself that is decked out in both Blue and Green too. Now before you ask why these colors, let me explain that I’m drawn to the green as it’s a color that actually centers me and makes me feel grounded to the earth, where as with blue, it makes my spiritual self feel the freedom I can’t when in turmoil inside my mind at times. I even have green RGB in our bedroom and when we move, I will be adding both blue and green into our bedroom. It does help me sleep too at nights, and I need all the help I can at nights to sleep a whole night through. Blade doesn’t mind the colors either. He has told me he enjoys it because it keeps me happy. He doesn’t know it yet but I have two more 3ft RGB strips coming in the mail and I plan to put one around the TV in our bedroom, and the other one will go around our Roku TV in our living room once we move to our new place. Yes we talking with multiple landlords trying to find a place.
